Babies understand words not babble!

Ya know, it’s just something about their cute little faces that makes you make up words and speak like a cartoon character. Oddly enough babies don’t learn language, rather they acquire it because they just pick it up. I’m a big fan of talking to babies in great detail.

When you speak to babies, let them know what you are doing, why you’re doing it, how you’re doing it, what color it is, and any other details that will help them “pick up” words.

Parents are the child’s first teacher, so it’s our responsibility to get their early education off to a good start. Check out these other cool tips for early education for young children. >>> http://families.naeyc.org/reading-writing/talk-it-up
